HER SEARCH FOR AN
IN-HOME TUTOR

When Meredith couldn't find an in-home tutor to teach her Mom how to use her mobile phone, she began searching for retired teachers who could help not only her Mom, but her Mom's neighbors and friends so they could learn together in a friendly, social setting.

After years of working in user experience research and product development, she started TeachUTech. Her team then began developing fun curriculums and visiting senior living communities to teach courses.
TeachUTech provides value that helps
improve the quality of life for device owners
and their families.
My Story
"It wasn't just my family. I saw lots of friends and co-workers struggling to help their parents learn how to use their own smartphone or tablet beyond just making phone calls.

They spent hours trying to walk their parents or elderly loved ones through basic tasks, which only made their parents more dependent on them. This causes a lot of stress and anxiety for both parties.

My family and I weren't comfortable having someone come into her home alone, and I wished the senior residential property offered classes, but the best they could do were occasional one-off's with staff members. Unfortunately, this didn't lead to knowledge retention and staffers weren't trained for tech ed."
